The Orillia Recreation Facility, which is scheduled to open in Spring 2019, contains a 5,500 sq. ft. fitness center, in addition to a fitness studio and high performance training spaces. The fitness center is a three-story venue that will accommodate a variety of exercise and fitness equipment to promote wellness programs and activities for a diverse client base. The fitness center and fitness studios will provide opportunities for fitness classes, instructional programs and individualized physical activity.
This project requires the existing equipment, as identified in Appendix F, to be moved to the new facility as well as the sourcing of new exercise and fitness equipment. Service, maintenance, warranty, long-term replacement strategies and the opportunity to establish partnerships will be considered in addition to a respondent’s ability to provide outlined incentives. Access to the new Orillia Recreation Facility for equipment delivery and installation is estimated to be between July 2019 – Aug 2019.
